The BAHCO Heavy Duty Bypass Lopper (part number BAHP19-80-F) features patented Slicing Cut technology, which puts the energy into efficient and precise cuts by drawing the blade back while closing it against the counterblade. This design makes for easier cuts on tough wood, leaving a clean, smooth surface on mature and dry wood that can help prevent diseases from attacking the trees where cuts are made. Additionally, the ergonomically-engineered, high-strength handles are more than 30 inches long for added leverage to reduce failure and “hesitation cuts” that can damage limbs.
All BAHCO loppers have blades manufactured with four-stage precision robotic grinding of high carbon steel for durability in the field. The BAHCO Heavy Duty Bypass Lopper features a blade with two different edge radii for powerful and smooth cuts; cut capacity: 50 mm/2”. The tool also comes with an easy-to-adjust lockable center bolt that cannot loosen while cutting.
