Gowan Company introduced SedgeHammer+ herbicide for nutsedge control. SedgeHammer+ is labeled for use on established woody ornamentals, fallow areas and cool and warm season turfgrasses. SedgeHammer+ contains a dry, non-ionic surfactant in the formulation, eliminating the need for additional additives when mixing. SedgeHammer+ has a federal EPA registration and is currently registered in 39 states. The following states have pending state registrations: CA, NY, MT, WY, UT, CO, NM, ND, VT and ME.
