Western Pulp Products Co. has announced the appointment of Don Wackerly as sales and marketing manager, where he will be based at Western’s Corvallis, Oregon headquarters.
Wackerly, who assumed the position Dec. 8, will have responsibility for directing the sales and marketing of Western’s made from recycled paper Vintner’s Choice wine and D2C fulfillments shippers, protective innerpack products, nursery and greenhouse containers, and maché floral containers.
Wackerly was born and raised in Ohio and has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toledo, Toledo, Ohio and a Master of Business Administration - Marketing, from Oregon State University, Corvallis, Oregon. Wackerly brings over 25 years of business experience with various beverage alcohol distributors and suppliers, most recently as the vice president of sales of Small World Wine Company, Philomath, Oregon.
An avid gardener and cook, Don and his wife Anne, reside in Corvallis where they have lived for the past 8 years. Western maintains its corporate headquarters as well as manufacturing facilities in Corvallis, Oregon in addition to manufacturing facilities in Jacksonville, Texas.
