Weeks Roses in Wasco, Calif., is introducing a line of fruit trees and ornamentals for the 2011 season called “Weeks Edibles and Ornamentals.” More than 40 varieties of almonds, apples, apricots, Asian pears, nectarines, peaches, pears, plums, pomegranate and wisteria will be available nationwide at nursery and garden centers for the first time this upcoming spring.
The company’s one ornamental offering at this early stage of the program is the Chinese Blue wisteria. Weeks will be adding more ornamentals, berries and a broader selection of fruit in the future.
