Wayne Lovelace of Forrest Keeling Nursery in Elsberry, Mo., was honored by the Conservation Federation of Missouri as the state's Forest Conservationist of the Year.

He was honored for his six decades of work in the industry. Lovelace's dedicated research in plant propagation and production led to his patented, RPM-Root Production Method (RPM).
The RPM technology, which grew out of his vision to restore the Mississippi River basin affected by the 1993 flood, has now branched into international markets.
When others would be thinking of slowing down or retiring, Lovelace is finding renewed energy and opportunity, and is focused on global growth.
