The Postal Service is doing its part to “Go Green” by providing customers with eco-friendly mailing materials and stamps.
As part of its Go Green commitment, the postal service has designed a series of 16 Forever stamps showing what each of us can do to promote the health of our environment.
My personal favorite: Plant a Tree.
The USPS website reads, "Besides producing oxygen and removing carbon dioxide and contaminants from the air, trees and other plants provide a habitat for birds and other wildlife."
Other stamps address issues such as ride sharing, adjusting the thermostat, fixing water leaks, composting and walking.
Check them out (or better yet, buy some and use them on your letters to customers) here.
