Multiple U.S. school districts plan to educate students in new greenhouses

The education of children in horticulture garners interest — and possibly careers — in the field. Recent developments in the United States spell hope for the advancement of childhood education in the industry, and in greenhouses specifically.

One such development is the dedication of a greenhouse to the late Grand Haven Public Schools employee Kathy Anderson at Central High School in Grand Haven, Michigan.

Another educational development took the form of the vote to add a greenhouse — along with playgrounds and other projects — in the Patchogue-Medford School District on Long Island, New York.
