The University of Georgia Trial Gardens has announced its Annual Industry Open House event will take place on Wednesday, June 8.
“We are excited to host our fellow industry partners each year in Athens, Georgia as a part of the Southern Garden Tour across the Southeast, along with Young's Plant Farm in Alabama and Metrolina in North Carolina,” said the organization in an industry-wide email.
“We look forward to seeing our friends and new faces this year, and we hope to see you there! Everyone here at the UGA Trial Garden is ready for a great growing season, and we are busy planting and growing out this year's selections to display at our Open House event.”
“All attendees will have the opportunity to select your favorite plants to be awarded the winners. Our garden staff, students, and volunteers will be available to give tours and answer questions. Snacks will be provided. RSVP is not required; however, you may contact us here or Sandy at sbegani@uga.edu for specific questions or recommendations. Parking is available at the nearby South Campus Parking Deck.”
The event will be followed by a Public Open House on Saturday, June 11, and all welcome to attend, the announcement concluded.
