PETALUMA, Calif. -- TrueLeaf Technlogies has negotiated with Sustainable Energy Financing (SEP) of Holland, Mich., to provide USDA REAP grant writing and other incentive related services.
Today's marketplace demands that growers become as efficient as possible in order to compete, and many utility companies and governmental agencies are offering rebates, grants, and tax benefits to help reduce the cost of energy efficiency and renewable energy equipment.
Many of TrueLeaf's technologies are aimed at helping grower's operation become more efficient. The ability to leverage available rebates and incentives is an added service that many growers need in order to unlock true value and cost savings. The following TrueLeaf products can qualify for some type of rebate or grant:
• Hot Water Boilers
• Direct Fired Unit Heaters
• Condensing Unit Heaters
• Condensing Boilers
• Heat Distribution Upgrades
• LED Light Products
• TrueSolar Power Stations
• Environmental Controls
The USDA REAP Program offers growers the ability to obtain up to 25 percent of project costs in the form of a grant from the USDA Rural Development Business Program office. Recent legislative action has renewed the Farm Bill for the next nine months, and, as a result, all growers regardless of location are eligible to apply. The REAP Grant has only one invitation to apply per year, and recipients have up to two years to implement successful applications; so it makes sense to apply now.
If you are interested in having your TrueLeaf proposal evaluated for USDA funding or other incentive applicability there are two ways to get started:
Contact your TrueLeaf Sales Rep at http://www.trueleaf.net/index.php/en/contact-us. They will provide SEF with background information on your project and the SEF team will follow up with an incentive summary, which includes a USDA REAP funding probability analysis.
Or contact SEF at (616) 396-6101 or by using their online project submission tool at www.sef-llc.com/form.html.
