Azusa, Calif. – Monrovia, the leading grower of premium ornamental and landscaping plants in the United States, has announced the hiring of Tristan Simpson as the company’s new Chief Marketing Officer. She joins the company effectively October 2, 2017 and will be based in the company’s Azusa, Calif. headquarters.
Simpson comes to Monrovia with more than 20 years of experience in consumer packaged goods marketing. She’s known as an innovative communicator in the natural and organic food category having led brand strategies for Ready Pac Food, Inc., Frieda’s Inc., Sun Pacific, and others. At Monrovia she will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive marketing strategy as the company continues its successful campaign of increasing customer awareness and engagement with the brand.

Simpson holds an MBA from the Marshall School of Business at the University of California, Los Angeles and a BA from the University of California, Irvine.
