The Connecticut invasive plants council upgraded the three plants from potentially invasive to invasive at its November meeting. The council also wants to re-visit the issue of how cultivars of invasives are treated in future meetings, according to Bob Heffernan, executive secretary at Connecticut Nursery and Landscape Association.
