In July, Skagit Gardens was acquired by Skagit Horticulture, an affiliate of Northwest Horticulture, LLC. Both companies are Mount Vernon, Washington–based wholesale perennial growers.
Skagit Gardens and Northwest Horticulture will operate as separate divisions under the umbrella of their common ownership, while maintaining their individual identity and product lines.
“Both divisions are strengthened by leveraging our operating efficiency, maximizing the utilization of our greenhouse and growing facilities, as well as by our strong teams,“ said Mark Buchholz, president and CEO of the combined companies.
