Proven Winners ColorChoice flowering shrubs brought home three medals for best new plant introductions awarded by the Royal Boskoop Horticulture Society in the Netherlands this month. Seventy-three plants were entered into the competition. PW ColorChoice submitted three new shrubs, all of which received medals.
“This is quite an honor because it’s extremely difficult to receive just one medal,” said Tim Wood, product development and marketing manager for Spring Meadow Nursery, the official propagator of PW ColorChoice.
Lo & Behold ‘Blue Chip’ (Buddleia x ‘Blue Chip’) received a gold medal. Fine Line Rhamnus (Rhamnus a. ‘Ron Williams’) won a silver medal; and a bronze medal went to Sugar Tip Hibiscus (Hibiscus syriacus ‘American Irene Scott’).
