2025 Proven Winners Horticulture Scholarship applications now open

Now in its 11th year, the Proven Winners Horticulture Scholarship program is accepting applications from both undergraduate and graduate students.

Scholarships range from $2,000 to $5,000 with options for both two- and four-year programs.

At least three four-year university scholarships will be awarded in the following areas of study:

• The Ushio Sakazaki — Proven Winners Plant Breeding Scholarship: Awarded to students who are committed to developing new and exciting plants in this competitive market.
• Proven Winners Innovations in Horticultural Marketing Scholarship: Awarded to students with not only a passion for plants but also for knowing how to market and sell them.
• The Rick Schoellhorn — Proven Winners Grower Excellence Scholarship: Awarded to students pursuing careers in producing high-quality plants.
  

Five two-year or post-secondary institution scholarships are also available to students who are enrolled full-time in an accredited institution in the U.S. or Canada studying horticultural science or related fields.
