This made-in-the-U.S.A. injection-molded propagation container is available from Proptek. It's the tall version of the company's largest Pot-in-Frame growing system for trees and shrubs.
The system features 8 loose fill air pruning containers that slot easily into the sturdy frame. The frame also acts like a benching and carry system. The pots are also available without the frame and can fit into some pre-existing benching systems.
The system is compatible with mechanization, making it a good fit for traditional nurseries or nurseries that have incorporated automation into production tasks. The pots can easily be removed and spaced. The plant should easily pull out from the pot, which allows the grower to inspect the root ball without any damage to the plant.
The elevated design reduces disease by keeping the plants off the ground away from puddles. The air pruning windows in the pots also help with air flow and drainage. It's also available in shorter 6 inch pots.
