On July 2, Brandon Coker, garden manager at UGA, released the Plants of Distinction (POD) for the trial gardens. Read on for the top performing plants.
“Early summer here in Athens has been in a way quite mild and we have had some rain recently which has helped boost these selections along. But none the less we are getting well into the proper part of summer with 90+ degree days being the norm. So, enjoy these wonderful varieties!” he said in an email. Check out the sections, below:
