Registration is open for the Perennial Plant Association's 2023 National Symposium.
Scheduled for July 24-28 in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, the event includes education, tours of local businesses, socials, an evening garden dinner and a trade show. Attendees have options to participate in either a Monday-Friday weeklong experience or a three-day experience covering the middle of the week.
“This will be a can’t-miss immersion into the fantastic horticulture scene in and around the Niagara Falls area. We are so grateful to our PPA Canada Region Director and site committee for making this unique opportunity possible!” said Holly Scoggins, PPA Board President, in PPA's registration announcement.
Currently, with early bird pricing, registration for Tuesday-Thursday is $850. Tours are an additional cost, as is the garden dinner.
Tour stops will include: Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens and Butterfly Conservatory; Sheridan Nurseries; Terra Watertown; Kayanase Nursery and Ecological Restoration; and the Watering Can Flower Market. Speakers include: Mark and Ben Cullen, Expert Garden Communicators; Gary Lewis of Phoenix Perennials; Dr. Allan Armitage, Renowned Horticulturist, Researcher and Speaker; Tony Spencer of The New Perennialist; and Patrick Cullina of Patrick Cullina Horticultural Design and Consulting.
The registration deadline for the symposium is July 12. More information can be found here.
