ABBOTSFORD, B.C. -- Van Belle Nursery announced today that Jonathan Pedersen has joined the wholesale grower to lead development of its new Bloomin' Easy brand.
Pedersen is well known for his accomplishments during his time at Bailey Nurseries. While there, he led the team that introduced some of the most well known brands in horticulture today, including The Endless Summer Collection, Easy Elegance Roses, and First Editions.
"I’m excited to be working with the dedicated team at Van Belle on an exciting new branding venture," Pedersen said. "We think alike and have the same goal of helping today’s consumer be successful with plants regardless of their gardening knowledge."
"Over the next few months, you can look forward to a brand with a new message and customer first focus," said DeVonne Friesen, sales and marketing manager for Van Belle. "This new brand, called Bloomin' Easy, will aim to provide on-going product-specific support for homeowners, and feature plants that are easy to grow and maintain. We see great opportunity for both growers and retailers, and are excited about having Jonathan lead the development of Bloomin' Easy as its executive director."
