Offered through the OSU extended campus in partnership with the Oregon Department of Agriculture, this online course is divided into three modules:
Biology, symptoms, and diagnosis; disease management; and Phytophthora ramorum.
Phytophthora disease is the number one disease of nursery crops nationwide. Notorious Phytophthora diseases include sudden oak death, ramorum blight and rhododendron root rot.
