OHP, Inc. has announced Marengo liquid pre-emergent herbicide is now available in a 18 fl. oz. container to accommodate users of all sizes.
Launched in 2013, Marengo has become widely used due to its long-term residual control of both broadleaf and grassy weeds, plant safety, and efficacy, according to a press release from OHP, Inc.
The 18 fl. oz. size was developed to allow new users the opportunity to experience the superior pre-emergent weed control at a lower price point, notes Dan Stahl, OHP vice president of marketing and business development.
“All growers now may take advantage of the effective, long-term residual control provided by Marengo,” says Stahl. “Both nursery and greenhouse operations can take advantage of the unique features of Marengo such as use under benches to control weeds.”
Marengo SC may be used on ground cloth, on gravel areas, and on dirt floors in greenhouse structures for pre-emergent control of both broadleaf and grassy weeds.
Marengo may be applied in hoophouses and shadehouses, field nurseries, ornamental production sites such as growing blocks and pads, and on hardscape areas.
Marengo contains the active ingredient indaziflam, the first from a new Mode of Action (MOA) Group 29.
