OHP launches Areca fungicide

OHP has announced the launch of Areca fungicide to the production ornamentals market.

Available immediately, Areca contains the active ingredient fosetyl-al, which provides long-term preventative control of pythium, phytophthora, downy mildew and fire blight on ornamentals in the greenhouse, nursery, and in the landscape.

"We are a provider of pest management solutions for the production ornamental market and Areca provides our grower customers with another effective solution for disease control,” notes Dan Stahl, OHP vice president and general manager.

A true up-and-down systemic, Areca begins to penetrate the plant's vascular system within one hour to provide protection against key diseases.
