The Oregon Association of Nurseries honored five Oregon legislators as Friends of Nurseries for 2016. Of the honorees, two represent Mid-Valley constituents.
Rep. Brian Clem (D-Salem), and Sen. Fred Girod (R-Stayton), Rep. Caddy McKeown (D-Coos Bay), Rep. John Lively (D-Springfield) and Rep. Mark Johnson (R-Hood River) received recognition for working with the nursery industry to solve issues of concern, according to a news release.
