The Nursery Growers Association of California has set its annual general meeting for Jan. 25 in Pomona, Calif. The event will take place at the Kellogg West Conference Center. Since 1955, the NGA has promoted the interests of California wholesale nurseries.
The meeting's featured speaker is Dr. Charlie Hall, professor at Texas A&M University and Ellison chair of International Floriculture. In his talk, "The paradigm has changed. Now what?" Dr. Hall will cover the economic outlook for 2018 and a look back at 2017.
The event begins with a 5 p.m. hosted bar and appetizers and dinner at 6:45 p.m. RSVPs must be submitted by Jan. 18. The cost is $40 per person if you pre-pay with credit card or check and $50 by cash or check at the door.
There will be a pre-meeting continuing education event for Los Angeles area growers. Learn more here.
