Debbie Thorne, formerly Hewlett, has been hired as Program Product Manager for the Grower Division. Thorne has spent over 25 years at Skagit Gardens where her experience included production planning, sales and marketing, as well as new product development. A key responsibility has been working with breeders and agents on introducing new genetics to the horticultural marketplace.
At Northwest Horticulture, Thorne will manage broker relationships with regard to new and existing grower programs, as well as coordinate with Gina on the introduction of new genetics into the broker and retail distribution network.
Gina Falcetti has recently joined Northwest Horticulture as Research and Development Manager.
Falcetti has more than 25 years’ experience in the nursery business, including long tenures at both White Flower Farm and Skagit Gardens. The last 15 years have been focusing on the evaluation and introduction of new plants from around the world. Her background includes propagation, stock management and production with a specialty in perennial plants.
At Northwest Horticulture, Falcetti's focus will be testing and trialing new genetics, as well as leading other research and development products.
