SUMNER, Wash. – McConkey Company has acquired the rPET manufacturing capabilities of Kentucky-based Five Boro Plastics.
The acquisition enables McConkey to increase their product offerings of rEarth containers made from recycled water bottles. Five Boro will maintain their recycling and regrind operations.
Additionally, through the acquisition of Five Boro’s horticultural division, Rick McMahon will join the rEarth sales team. Rick brings 30 years of horticultural knowledge in greenhouse and plastic manufacturing.
McConkey Company is a producer and distributor of horticultural goods. The company was founded in 1964 in Sumner, Wash., and has since grown to include branches in Wilsonville, Ore., and Garden Grove, Calif. For more information, visit www.mcconkeyco.com.
