The emerald ash borer crisis has opened up many eyes on the issues of tree care and diversity. To prevent the next great tree crisis, the Morton Arboretum has mounted a major effort to provide guidance to municipalities, homeowners, contractors and nurseries to encourage planting diversity.

The Arboretum needs the landscape and nursery industry's help to refine and perfect their guidance by responding to the following survey by July 16. It is the goal of this effort to improve the health of Illinois’ urban forest for decades to come, and the input of the nursery industry is critical to making that happen.
