Monrovia has announced several changes in leadership positions at its nurseries.
Brett Cromly is now the general manager of the flagship Oregon nursery. He previously led the company’s Georgia location as general manager.
“In his nearly four years leading the Cairo, Georgia, operation, Brett elevated the quality of plants and data-driven production planning of that nursery. I’m excited to see him bring that experience to Oregon,” said Monrovia President and CEO Jonathan Pedersen.
Cromly began working for Monrovia in 2017, first as an inside sales representative. He was promoted to regional sales manager at the Georgia nursery and became the general manager in 2021.

Greg Rusow, the most recent general manager of the Oregon nursery, will be moving into a new role as vice president of production practices across all nurseries. During his long tenure with Monrovia, Rusow has previously served as general manager at all three Monrovia nurseries.
“He instills a culture of excellence in growing practices and understands the unique opportunities and challenges in every region,” Pedersen said.
Although still based in Oregon, Rusow will be traveling frequently to the other nurseries to advise on best practices in growing techniques.

With Cromly’s move to Oregon, Scott Andrews is returning to Monrovia as the general manager of the Georgia nursery. He previously had nearly 14 years of experience at that location
“I’m thrilled to return to the Cairo, Georgia, nursery as general manager. My time away has deepened my appreciation for this wonderful team and reinforced my commitment to the success of both the nursery and the craftsmen as we continue to grow and thrive together,” Andrews said.

Toni Bielli will be moving back to Monrovia’s California nursery as its new regional sales manager. She was previously an inside sales representative in the California region and in recent years served as the nursery’s national senior account manager for its Lowe’s business.
“Toni’s knowledge and experience with our California nursery and its market runs deep,” said vice president of sales Ted McDonald. “She is a strategic customer partner skilled at leading her teams to excellence.”
