McHutchison promotes new sales representative from within

McHutchison recently promoted Colton Carter as new sales representative for Tennessee, Northern Mississippi and Northern Alabama.

Carter, a native of Raleigh, North Carolina, has worked as a turf grass specialist at Nature’s Select Triangle, sales representative at MNI Direct and assistant grower at Metrolina Greenhouses, where he worked with spring annuals, mums and poinsettias. He joined McHutchison in 2024 as a customer service representative supporting sales efforts and serving customers nationwide prior to his promotion.

“We are very happy to add Colton to our extremely talented sales team,” said McHutchison President Ken Turrentine. “He will be able to build on his strong horticultural knowledge and utilize his exceptional customer service skills with our organization.”

A graduate of North Carolina State University, Carter earned his bachelor’s degree in horticultural science.
