LumiGrow Inc. announced an equipment buy-back program to help commercial growers embrace LED lighting technology with greater confidence. The new program is intended for growers who prefer to remain at the cutting edge of lighting technology.
Starting this month, growers have the option to participate in the equipment buy- back program for a 10 percent premium over their LumiGrow solution purchase price. Growers may choose to upgrade their lighting systems anytime between 24 and 84 months following the purchase date.
A credit of as much as 35 percent of the original purchase price, based on a published schedule of ownership duration, will be automatically applied toward the grower’s next LumiGrow lighting purchase.
LumiGrow will resell retrofit fixtures through both direct and retail channel sales. Any fixtures that cannot be resold will be recycled. RoHS-compliant LumiGrow products are mercury-free and 90 percent recyclable.
