Lo & Behold Lilac Chip, a Proven Winners ColorChoice selection, recently received top honors at the Plantarium Nursery Show (www.plantarium.nl), a new plant competition in Europe for judging the best new woodies and perennials. The 29th edition of Plantarium was held from August 24-27 in the Netherlands.
Out of 70 entries, Lo & Behold Lilac Chip won "Best of Show" and was only one of two plants to receive a Gold Medal.
Lo & Behold Lilac Chip Butterfly Bush is a dwarf, seedless variety which re-blooms until frost without deadheading. It has soft, lavender-pink flowers and is more compact than 'Blue Chip.'
Also at the show, Miss Ruby Butterfly Bush won a Silver Medal. Incrediball Hydrangea and Invincibelle Spirit Hydrangea both won Bronze Medals.
