WESTERVILLE, Ohio – The Ohio Nursery and Landscape Association (ONLA) elected new board members at the ONLA Luncheon & Business Meeting on Jan. 7, 2015, at the Hyatt Regency Columbus, Ohio.
The new ONLA president is Mike Dues from Dues Nursery & Landscaping in Celina, Ohio. He is looking forward to serving as the association president in 2015 and working for Ohio’s green industry.
Dave Richards from South Ridge Farms in Ashtabula, Ohio will be serving on the board as immediate past president with Steve Maddox from Michell’s in Canton, Ohio serving as 2015 president elect.
Returning board members include: Annette Howard from Gilson Gardens; Josh Posey from Buckeye Resources; Mark Reiner from Oakland Nursery; and Kevin Thompson, executive director of The Ohio Nursery & Landscape Association.
New board members for 2015 include: Hillary Henry from The Pattie Group, Adam McClanahan from Carlton Plants, and Ellen Purcell from Riepenhoff Landscape.
The ONLA’s annual convention, the Central Environmental Nursery Trade Show (CENTS), is scheduled for Jan. 13-15, 2016, at the Greater Columbus Convention Center and Hyatt Regency Hotel, Columbus, Ohio. The trade show is open only to persons in the nursery and landscape industry.
