Doug Tallamy, author of Bringing Nature Home, will host the "Building Pollinator Populations" webinar Nov. 12 from noon to 1 p.m. It is free for WNLA members and $50 for non-members.
The webinar, sponsored by Forrest Keeling Nursery, will cover the important ecological roles of these species, and discuss the plants required to support their populations in our landscapes. Tallamy, professor and chair of the department of entomology and wildlife ecology at the University of Delaware, is the keynote speaker at the 2016 Western. He also won the Silver Medal from the Garden Writer's Association for his book, Bringing Nature Home.
The webinar is part of the WNLA Education Series. It is limited to 100 attendees.
