The quarantined counties are: Boone, Bourbon, Campbell, Carroll, Fayette, Franklin, Gallatin, Grant, Harrison, Henry, Jefferson, Jessamine, Kenton, Oldham, Owen, Pendleton, Scott, Shelby, Trimble and Woodford. This action is in response to the detection of EAB in Campbell, Fayette, Franklin, Jefferson, Jessamine, Kenton and Shelby counties. The additional 13 counties of are adjacent to the area where EAB was detected. The interstate movement of EAB-host wood and wood products from the quarantined counties is regulated, including firewood of all hardwoods species, nursery stock, green lumber, waste, compost and chips of ash species.
