With the arrival of April, greenhouse operators in Pennsylvania are going into overdrive as they receive shipments of plants, transplant millions of seedlings, fill up banks of greenhouses, open their retail operations, and prepare for a profitable season. In this busiest of times, it is critically important that growers be vigilant about monitoring insect pests, particularly thrips and aphids.
