Joseph Setter joins Mycorrhizal Applications

Grants Pass, OR., February 1, 2022 — The team at Mycorrhizal Applications (MA) has recently gained a new Southeast states sales account manager, Joseph Setter. MA is the world’s leading supplier of mycorrhizal inoculants, and with the growing interest and demand for these sustainable soil solutions, Setter supports the continued growth and development of this Southern Oregon based manufacturing company. Located in the Greenville South Carolina area, Setter helps growers and distributors in the territory, including Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas. He also provides support to the increasing number of horticulture distributors who sell the MycoApply mycorrhizal products that MA produces, as well as the additional biorational solutions that MA distributes, such as Actinovate Biofungicides, MGK Botanical Insecticides, and Valent BioSciences’ Plant Growth Regulators (PGRs).

Setter brings a wealth of experience to the team, with 20 plus years of tenure in the agriculture and horticulture markets. Previously, he worked with mycorrhizae, bacteria and amendments as a national sales manager for a U.S. manufacturer. Setter has worked with a diversity of crop categories, manufacturing firms and distributor networks, including management of domestic territories, as well as international experience in markets such as China. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Horticulture/Agronomy from Kansas State University.

With his education background and deep industry experience and knowledge, Setter is able to provide in-depth technical assistance with Mycorrhizal Applications’ products in a variety of horticulture production systems and professional mycorrhizal applications. He also will provide guidance on how to maximize grower success utilizing the various technologies offered by MA.
