Jan Buberl, a 13-year veteran of BASF, has been appointed to head the organization’s Specialty Products Division. The division consists of Professional Turf & Ornamentals, Professional Pest Control Solutions and Professional Vegetation Management.
Buberl most recently served in the Crop Protection business as country manager for Spain and Portugal at BASF. His experience in the company has also included global marketing, herbicides and marketing for specialty crops.
“Jan’s expansive background and global tenure with our organization will provide great benefit to our Specialty Products Division,” said Nevin McDougall, Group Vice President, BASF. “His key focus will be to ensure that we keep customers at the forefront of our business decisions in order that we develop the right solutions to meet the future market needs.”
The appointment was effective October 1, 2009.
