James J. Bissett, president of Bissett Nursery in Holtsville and Dix Hills, N.Y., died Dec. 14. He was 48.
Bissett was also co-owner of the Long Island Aquarium and Exhibition Center and the Hyatt Place East End Hotel in downtown Riverhead, N. Y.
He is survived by his wife, Carole; his daughters, Dominique Bissett-Viscardi and Danielle; his son, James IV; his sisters, Denise, Michelle Pospischil and Diane Nelson; and Irene Bissett, the mother of their children.
