the launch of the Owners Only educational series by the American Nursery & Landscape Association. HRI is the proud sponsor of this video business series.
Owners Only debuts on the ANLA Knowledge Center with a new 8 episode series from nationally-recognized business speaker and writer, and green industry entrepreneur Jay Goltz. Goltz shares eight essential skills omake up the job description of every successful Owner, CEO, and top executive. Founded in 1962, HRI has directed more than $5.8 million of industry funds to research projects covering the full range of production, environmental and business issues important to the green industry. HRI distributed $282,500 in grants and scholarships for 2012. Donor designated funds are a primary component of funding for HRI's research endeavors. Nearly, $11 million is committed in the endowment by 180 individuals, associations and corporations. The Endowment Fund's principal remains invested and untouched; only investment earnings fund HRI grants.
