LAKELAND, Fla. - Employee-owned Harrell’s, manufacturer and supplier of performance-based turf and ornamental products, has announce Britney Rust and Hannah Pratt both of the marketing department, as their Sales Support Professionals of the year. The Sales Support Professional of the Year is the most prestigious award a non-sales employee can achieve at Harrell’s.
Each year Harrell’s executive team and sales directors choose a sales support professional based on each candidate’s overall professionalism, attention to detail, efficient and effective management of their area, relationship with their customers, ability to embrace new ideas, self-direction and decision-making skills, and leadership.
“Britney and Hannah have done a tremendous job supporting the sales team," said Tina Newberry, director of marketing for Harrell’s. "Their professionalism, organization, attention to detail, superior communication skills, and out-going, friendly personalities make them both integral members to our Harrell’s family and especially our sales team. We are fortunate to have them on our team."
Britney joined Harrell’s in 2014 after graduating from Southeastern University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. She worked her way up from a part-time Intern to her current position as marketing coordinator.
Hannah joined the Harrell’s marketing team as event manager just over a year ago. She came to Harrell’s with a Bachelor of Science degree in event management form the Rosen College of Hospitality Management at the University of Central Florida and three years of experience in event planning.
In addition to being one of the nation’s largest distributors of branded fungicides, herbicides and insecticides, employee-owned Harrell’s produces custom blended fertilizers, specialty liquids, and wetting agents for the golf course, sports turf, landscape management, specialty ag and horticulture industries. They are also the exclusive formulator and a distributor of POLYON, a controlled-release fertilizer technology.
