Grower program eases shipping issues

Pleasant View Gardens introduced its Mode Optimization Shipping Program in part to help relieve fuel costs. The company’s shipping department will provide each customer with its own optimal shipping mode.

Pleasant View Gardens will take into consideration its customers’ situation to determine variables, like mode of transportation, airport proximity, weather conditions and cost.

“We’ll optimize each customer’s shipment to be the quickest, cheapest and safest mode of delivery so that the plants arrive in prime condition,” said Henry Huntington, president of Pleasant View Gardens. “We’ll take on the shipping headaches so our customers can concentrate on the rest of their business.”
