GIE Media has launched Ornamental Breeder, a new print magazine serving the horticultural industry. Ornamental Breeder is your source for information about the latest breeding technology, plant culture and research, trends and many other related topics.
"The new publication is designed to connect the industry and help streamline communications along the supply chain, from concept to consumer," said Jim Gilbride, publisher of Ornamental Breeder in his introductory publisher's letter. "Without the grower, the landscaper has no plants to create gardens with, and plant retailers don’t have anything to sell to customers looking to beautify their yards. Without breeders, there would be no innovation and new plants to grow. From breeders down to the final consumers, all of the people and businesses involved in the horticulture industry supply chain are intricately and undeniably connected."
Ornamental Breeder will be distributed as a supplement with Lawn & Landscape, Greenhouse Management, and Garden Center magazines every other month in 2015. You can follow the magazine on Twitter @OrnamentalBreed.
