Everris adds sales agronomist

The company is also restructuring its sales territories.

DUBLIN, Ohio – The Everris sales team has undergone some recent changes with the addition of Nicole Hastings as a sales agronomist and the departure of Territory Manager Jocelyn Deneen for a new position within the ICL organization.

A former Everris intern, Nicole Hastings will now be a part of the Everris Agriculture Team serving the Western Region. As a sales agronomist, Hastings will focus on growing the company’s business in California’s Central Valley and other areas in the Western Region. During her time as an intern, Hastings worked and trained with Everris associates to gain a valuable background in both the ornamental horticulture and agriculture industries. She is well-versed in problem-solving, customer relationship management and the vast Everris product catalog.

Hastings’ educational background includes an associate’s degree in biological and physical science from Citrus College in Glendora, Calif. Most recently, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in plant science from California Polytechnic State University in Pomona, Calif.

“Nicole comes to us with an ideal background for her new position,” said Joe Micco, Everris Western Region manager for the U.S. and Canada. “She’s completed courses in the fields of soil and plant fertility, as well as agronomic principles. While attending college, Nicole worked as a grower and salesperson, giving her valuable insight into the very customers we serve. I have no doubt she’ll be a great addition to our team in the Western Region.”

On the other side of the country, Territory Manager Jocelyn Deneen is leaving her post in the Northeastern U.S. to accept a new position with Everris’ parent company, ICL, as a member of its marketing and sales Team. As a result of Deneen’s departure, the company is restructuring two existing sales territories.

Current Territory Manager Sharon Warschauer will take over Deneen’s previous territory in New England while maintaining her current territory, which includes the states of Maryland, Delaware, the District of Columbia, New Jersey, New York and Eastern Pennsylvania. Territory Manager Don Furterer will now represent Everris in Western Pennsylvania which was previously part of Warschauer’s territory.

“The new position with ICL is a tremendous opportunity for Jocelyn, and we wish her all the best,” said Craig Whatley, Everris’ Eastern Region manager. “I know that Sharon and Don are well-equipped with the knowledge and skills to effectively cover their newly expanded territories, and we look forward to continued success in the Eastern Region.”
