The annual Emergent Networking Event will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 10, from 5-9 p.m. following the close of the first day of the MANTS trade show. It will take place on the top floor of Pratt Street Ale House, 206 W. Pratt Street in Baltimore.
Complementary food and drinks will be available at this networking social. Thirteen green industry sponsors and contributors will be recognized from 7-7:30 p.m. during the event. This is a free event open to all horticulture professionals. No RSVP is necessary.
Emergent: A Group for Growing Professionals was formed in 2012. In the past five years, membership has increased to over 3,300. This free-to-join organization is based on Facebook and encourages an open dialog and networking of diverse green industry professionals ranging in age, experience level and expertise.
Additional funds raised will be donated to the Horticultural Research Institute on behalf of Emergent and the generous sponsor businesses. The AmericanHort/HRI reception will be held on Thursday Jan. 11 from 5-7 p.m. in the Pratt Registration Lobby West at convention center.
