Before the year's end, the Horticultural Research Institute is asking the indsutry to help raise funds to support the organization.
In 2011, HRI funded an independent study of the United States Nursery Certification
Program; it received exclusive U.S. and Canadian license rights for keratin bioresins technology; and HRI awarded $219,000 in research grants and scholarships.
Those who make a $300 contribution to the General Fund or Emerging Issues & Technology Projects Fund will receive the 2012 Tom Pinney limited edition framed HRI print.
