“Last year’s awards set a milestone for the fund as we crossed the half million dollar mark in total scholarship awarded since the fund was established,” said Danny Summers, executive vice president of the fund. “We are very proud of our accomplishment in building the fund over the past 28 years and we want to express our appreciation to everyone who has help build this important funding program for our students. The ability to make this level of awards over the years, as we built the endowment fund that now stands at over $850,000, is quite an accomplishment and a tribute to the many SNA members, exhibitors, and industry individuals who made contributions to help build the fund and award our students."
