BORING, Ore. -- J. Frank Schmidt & Son Co. has named Dave Sheline sales manager of the shade, flowering and specialty ornamental tree nursery headquartered in Boring, Oregon.
A well-known and respected Oregon nurseryman, Sheline brings 38 years of landscape, nursery production and sales management experience to the position. He will lead a sales and customer service team that includes 11 regional representatives who serve customers throughout the U.S. and Canada. Sheline has served in various production, sales, and management capacities since joining the Schmidt team in May.
Art Anderson, general manager and chief operating officer of the family-owned nursery, announced Sheline’s appointment.
“Dave’s many years experience in sales management and leadership will afford him the ability to hit the ground running in working with our customers, sales representatives and everyone on the JFS team,” Anderson said. “We feel extremely fortunate to have him join the JFS employee family.”
