Cornell students and faculty may visit the apple vending machine on the first floor of the Plant Science Building across from Room 133.
Graduate Field of Horticulture students pick the fruit from Cornell Orchards and the Department of Horticulture’s Lansing Orchard and stock the machine. Proceeds support activities of Society for Horticulture Graduate Students (SoHo).
The varieties available change through the harvest season.
Editor's note: What a fantastic idea! When will something like this go mainstream?
