Chia pet seeds are healthy

Bob Arnot told Men’s Journal the seeds are especially high in fiber and omega-3 fatty acids, and low in sodium, cholesterol and saturated fat. Chia seeds also are filling, so Arnot sprinkles some on his morning cereal and mixes them into a shake at lunch to keep from snacking all day.
