Cedar Valley Nurseries, in Ada, Okla., recently announced a business expansion with the opening of the 290-acre Deaton Farms location.
In a press release, co-owner Ty Hartwig said the expansion will address the ever-growing need for quality container landscape material and delivery to valued customers. Deaton is located five miles from Cedar Valley's main operation. In addition to production, it will also function as a holding facility. It will have its first container crops available in fall 2016.
In addition to the Deaton expansion, Cedar Valley Nurseries will be increasing its tree liner production in response to the continuing need for quality liners.
Growing right along with the business is the ownership agreement between Ty Hartwig and Mark and Tabitha West. Following the natural progression of the successful 15 year relationship between the trio, an agreement has been reached for Mark and Tabitha to purchase a larger ownership portion of Cedar Valley as of Jan. 1.
