Bob Dolibois named keynote speaker for Green & Growin' 2016

RALEIGH, N.C. — Keynote speaker Bob Dolibois is bringing a "coming of age" tale to Green & Growin’ 2016, January 11-15 in Greensboro, N.C.: how horticulture in the United States became an industry with a larger economic impact than Hollywood.  Nobody tells that story better than the former chief exec of American Nursery and Landscape Association (ANLA).

The nursery and landscape industry has gone from clipboards to computers – and from operating comfortably “under the radar” to experiencing increased governmental and regulatory scrutiny. Dolibois, who led ANLA through 21 years of both tumultuous growing pains and boom times, will tell the tale of that evolution with insight and humor during the G&G Keynote Breakfast on Wednesday, January 13.  He’ll also share experiences from his recently released book: Back Then to Right Now: The Horticultural Industry Comes of Age.

Dolibois’ keynote presentation is the highlight of the world-class educational programs available to green industry professionals during Green & Growin' 16.

G&G Education (January 11-13) includes more than 80 educational sessions designed to meet a wide range of industry needs. There are certification and licensing classes (including one for Spanish-speaking pesticide applicators) specialty workshops and nine different educational tracks. More than 140 continuing education credits are available toward professional certifications and licenses in N.C., S.C. and Tennessee.
